No true ape hanger will fit without having to lengthen the wiring harnesses and changing throttle cable and brake hose. You can get away with a 2-4 inch riser extension over stock, but can experience problems with the throttle when the bars are at left side full lock. Any shop that makes hydraulic hoses can build the longer brake hose. Have a bike shop make extended throttle and clutch cables, the right size equates to cheap insurance against wide open throttle ock or a slipping clutch due to too tight cables. You can extend the wiring harnesses quite easily yourself with low melt solder, shrink tubing, and the same gauge wire as stock. Heat shrink and solder make a more permanent connection than generic crimp connectors, and will fit inside split loom tubing easier as well.
Hope this helps. sorry I can't give you a simpler answer.

P.S.: 12-16 inch ape hangers are perfect on the Savage if you are around my size, 6ft 2inch, roughly 230 pounds.
